Christmas Dance Photo: What to Wear
Last updated:

Your outfit only matters in one of the two styles. Elf Dance gives everyone the same elf costume, whatever they wear. Christmas Party keeps the clothes from your photo, so there your outfit decides whether you dance as Santa, in an ugly sweater or simply as yourself in party mode.
The elf dance video look
Skip the party shop. Pick Elf Dance and the video dresses you in a green tunic with a red collar, red tights, a pointy hat, elf ears and curly shoes. Wear anything that shows your shape; what matters is a clear, front-facing face and hair you are happy to see under an elf hat.
Santa and Mrs Claus
For Christmas Party, a Santa hat and a red top are enough. A fake beard works if it doesn’t hide most of the face; the model needs to see your eyes, nose and mouth clearly.
Christmas sweaters
Ugly sweaters are made for the Christmas Party style. Bold patterns stay recognisable while you dance, and the result still looks like you on a normal day, only more festive.
What to avoid
Long scarves, capes and very loose costumes can blur when the routine moves fast. Masks, sunglasses and hats pulled low over the eyes lower the quality the most.
Framing the photo
Stand facing the camera with arms relaxed and the whole outfit in frame, in good light. A plain background helps the model separate you from the room.
